Meet the team
Dr Alina Vasile
Lead Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS
Hello, I am Ali. I started working as a veterinary surgeon in Preston in 2022. I studied at Ankara University Veterinary Faculty in Turkey and I studied 6 months in Romania during my education with the student exchange program, then I graduated in June 2022. I did internships in animal hospitals and veterinary practices in Turkey.
In my spare times I like to go to hiking and bird watching.
Hello! I graduated from the faculty of veterinary medicine Bucharest, Romania in 2007. Since then, I have worked in a small animal practice until 2017 and then moved to the UK with my family and cats, Schtutz and Schatzie.
My interests are soft tissue surgery and dentistry. In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis and meeting my friends.
I joined the Vets4Pets family back in 2013 a Receptionist and have since progressed to the role of Head Nurse. I have been here at Preston Vets4Pets for the past year and have enjoyed getting to know you all and your furry little friends. My passions are dentistry and also supporting our numerous students through their studies.
I have a cheeky cat called Zelda, and a sassy cat called Eevee who both certainly keep me on my hind-paws ;)
Hello , my name is Helen, the senior nurse at Vets4Pets in Preston. I have worked in the veterinary field for many years now and have enjoyed every second of it! I have spent some time in an emergency veterinary hospital as well as in small animal practice.
I have only been with Vets4Pets for a short time but I look forward to meeting all of the lovely clients and pets. In my spare time I enjoy camping with my pooches in the camper van, walking the countryside and studying for my veterinary emergency and critical care certification.
Hello, I'm Lauren a 3rd year degree student veterinary nurse. I started my journey with Vets4Pets in 2019 on work experience and have since joined the team as a veterinary care assistant alongside my student nurse placement. I am currently loving learning every aspect of the nursing role and I have the best team here at Preston to support me.
In my spare time I enjoy long walks in the countryside with my patterdale terrier.. Completing my family is Alfie my ginger rescue cat and treacle my little guinea pig.
I love getting to know all of our clients and their fur babies and every one of them helps me in my journey.
Hi! My name is Darcy and I am currently studying a degree in veterinary nursing alongside working as a veterinary care assistant here at Preston Vets4Pets. Everyone here is amazing and I love being involved with all of your pets, and giving them lots of cuddles!
I have two dogs myself, Angus and Luna, and one cat Pepper, I don't know what I would do without them.
In my spare time I enjoy going out with my friends and family, and I'm always up for a board game!
Hello! My name is Lily and I’m a 2nd year veterinary nursing student here at Vets4Pets. I’ve been here since September 2021 and have absolutely loved being part of the team and meeting all of your lovely pets.
I can’t currently have my own pets but that just means I love giving everyone else’s more cuddles! In my spare time I like exploring the countryside, art and travelling whenever I can.
Look forward to meeting you all soon!
